Our congregation has developed a new normal that is stronger, warmer, and more innovative than ever. Please make a gift to our High Holiday campaign now.
Dear {{first_name}} , Next week, we will celebrate Rosh Hashanah and usher in 5783 at Temple Shaari Emeth. This is a time for reflection, and an opportunity to look forward to a new chapter in our Temple’s history. We are entering this new year after a time of tremendous growth. After two years in a pandemic and the merging with
Temple Rodeph Torah, our congregation has developed a new normal that is stronger, warmer, and more innovative than ever. Whether you are a recent member at Shaari Emeth or a seasoned congregant, you are an invaluable member of our community.
With the High Holidays arriving, we invite you to join us in our annual High Holiday campaign, an initiative to raise vital dollars for Shaari Emeth. These funds play a critical role in our operating budget, allowing us to deliver high-quality programming for our congregants today and to continue innovating and evolving for the future.
With your generous support, we will:
Develop top-tier interactive and educational experiences at the Early Learning Center and Religious School
Sustain our vibrant and diverse community with a variety of engagement opportunities through groups like the Renaissance, Sisterhood, Men’s Club and YOSHE, our Youth Groups for first through twelfth
Provide families with learning opportunities to explore Jewish life and celebration
Fund the Toby & Seth Hanover Youth Scholarship to enable teens to go to Israel and Jewish camps
Support our exceptional clergy and staff
Maintain our Temple’s beautiful facilities and enhance our building with a new lobby that honors our history and creates a welcoming space to welcome congregants and guests
Create exciting holiday programming such as Sushi in the Sukkah, Passover Seders, and interfaith celebrations with Mosaic the Interfaith Thanksgiving Service and our reading of the rolled-out Torah at Simchat Torah
Pursue the ideals of Tikkun Olam through our social justice work
To achieve our goal of 100% participation this year, we’re counting on you to contribute your time, energy and resources in a way that feels meaningful to you. Whether it be $18,000 to sponsor a holiday service or $18 to provide a meal for the homeless in our winter shelter, your participation is critical in our goal to maintain a thriving Jewish life in Western Monmouth County.
To give to our High Holiday campaign, please visit www.shaariemeth.org/appeal, or respond to this email with your pledge, and we will add it onto your Temple account. If you need any additional support, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
