Interested in learning to sound the shofar? Join Rabbi Falco at the end of the first two Embracing Elul classes at 11:45am on Sept. 4th and Sept. 11th for a workshop on sounding the shofar. Those who would like to sound the shofar at High Holiday services will have a third and final review session on Sept. 25th at 11:45am. No prior experience is necessary. NOTE: No shofars will be provided, so please bring your own shofar!

If you need to buy a shofar but don't know where to start, there are many sources online, including Amazon. Long shofars are supposed to be easier to get a sound from because they have larger mouthpieces. Please ask either rabbi or the cantor if you need specifice advice.
