Join the incredible Keren Hananel, (Keren has lead multiple trips for TSE) as she takes us on a five day tour through Israel including explorations of some newer sights that have only opened during the pandemic.

December 22: Kumran (sight of the Dead Sea Scrolls) and Ein Gedi and its Ancient Synagogue

December 23: Southern Israel: Sde Boker, Ben Gurion’s House, Ben Gurion’s Grave and Ovdat


The last night of the tour will include a “Banquet” from 6:00-7:00 p.m. with the opportunity to purchase an Israeli meal to be picked up at the Temple prior to the event, enjoyed with some shmoozing 


Whether you have been to Israel or not, this tour will have something for everyone. From the North to the South, we will explore the beauty and history of Israel with one of the most engaging tour guides you could hope to meet. And all without ever having  to go through airport security or customs!


Keren Hananel is a passionate and energetic tour guide with over 20 years of experience in guiding tourists. She has worked with Synagogues, churches, families (bar\bat mitzvah, interfaith), Business schools (Harvard. Cornell, Wharton, and many others) She brings her warmth, and depth of knowledge to every group she works with.

Dinner Options

Meals must be ordered by December 16th at noon and will be available for pickup at the temple between 4:00 and 5:30pm on December 23rd. Dinner is being ordered from Koy Turkish Grill.

The cost per dinner is $20.  There are no refunds for meals ordered but not picked up.
   Falafel Dinner: Chickpeas, onion, and celery seasoned with garlic, parsley, and herbs, served with tahini sauce over a bed of hummus, with pita.
   Chicken Shish Kebab: Char grilled marinated cubes of chicken breast, served with rice, salad, and pita.
   Classic Lamb Gyro: Very thinly sliced, turning grilled meat, with rice and pita.Meals must be picked up at the temple between 5PM and 6PM on December 23rd.
