Our sages tell us that consoling the bereaved is an obligation on each of us, whose reward is immeasurable. Bringing comfort to the mourner is a huge part of how we as a congregation take care of each other and sustain our kehilla kedosha, our sacred community. The opportunity to lead a Shiva Minyan is an honor and is something each member can do, and we are here to help. Join us for an hour to learn the basics of visiting the house of the mourner, leading a brief prayer service, and performing an immeasurable mitzvah.
