It is with the most shattered hearts we share that Glenn S. Cohen has passed away after a very long struggle. We thank you for all your love, support and understanding over these past few months.
The funeral will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 8th in New York City. Due to space limitations, the service will be private but it will also be streamed for you to watch at home, and for those who would like to gather with others, it will also be streamed in the sanctuary at Temple Shaari Emeth at 12:00 p.m. Please visit www.shaariemeth.org/glennscohen which will be updated with streaming information for both the funeral service on Tuesday and the Shiva Minyans on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
The family will be sitting shiva at the Temple Wednesday, March 9th,Thursday March 10th and Sunday March 13th at 7:00 with a minyan at 7:30 p.m. These minyans will also be live streamed at www.shaariemeth.org/glennscohen. Please note that masks are required for those coming to the temple. Glenn was part of our family. He worked tirelessly to ensure that all of our services and holiday programming was able to be live streamed. HIs knowledge of the technology and his dedication to ensuring everyone can still be spiritually connected was amazing. The entire community was able to participate remotely during the crazy environment that we were in. The Board of Trustees has renamed the Prayer Book & Spiritual Enhancement Fund, in honor and memory of Glenn, to the Glenn S. Cohen Spiritual Enhancement Fund. The family has asked that you consider donations to this fund at Temple Shaari Emeth.
Our hearts and prayers are with Rabbi Panken, Ari, Micah and the entire Cohen/Panken family.
May God console those who mourn in Zion, Jerusalem and throughout the world
