Dear Dancers,

The next dancing event at Temple Shaari Emeth is Thursday, December 12th from 7-9PM. I will reteach and review some of the dances taught at the first session and then introduce some fun new dances. Here's the link to register for the event:

Donations of food, monetary donations to help off-set costs, as well as helping hands to help serve a holiday lunch at the Soup Kitchen are needed to help with this annual event, during which we help to feed as many as 150 people in the Freehold area who are homeless and food insecure. If you cannot volunteer, please consider making donations of food or monetary donations - they are very much needed and greatly appreciated.

All volunteer spots are filled in the order in which they are received. You may request a particular time slot, but those requests cannot be guaranteed.

We are currently looking for volunteers for our annual Pocketbook Blingo fundraiser.  We need your help!
1} solicitating local businesses for donations
2} the day of the event to set up starting around 1pm
3} the night of selling tickets (will be before the event starts at 7pm and during the intermissions - Don't worry you can still play!)
 
This fundraiser gives Sisterhood the necessary funds to allow us to make generous donations to the temple, religious school and our community. 
This year a portion will also be given to Autism Speaks.  This is an organization that has special significance to us and many of us have been touched by Autism in different ways.

We are sad to inform you that our long time member, Sandy Brown passed away yesterday, November 10, 2019.  Sandy is survived by her children, Sari & Michel, Jason & Melanie and her grandchildren, Julia, Lauren, Sabrina, Jacob & Paloma.

Sandy's funeral will take place on November 12th at 11:00AM at Bloomfield Cooper Jewish Chapels with interment at Mt. Sinai Cemetery in Morganville.

Shiva will be held at Sandy's house, 5 Montreal Square in Marlboro on Tuesday, 11/12 after interment until 8:00PM, Wednesday and Thursday, 11/13 & 11/14 from 1:00PM through 4:00PM and 6:00PM through 9:00PM and Friday, 11/15 from 12:00PM through 2:00PM.  There will be a Minyan Service at 7:00PM on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Donations can be made to Temple Shaari Emeth for Mishkan Refuah or to Memorial Sloan Kettering.

Thank you for this opportunity to share with you about the Sisterhood of Temple Shaari Emeth’s Grand Event, Pocketbook Blingo .  This event will take place on February 6th, 2020 at Temple Shaari Emeth.  The event’s purpose is to have a fun night together as a community, play bingo and win fabulous pocketbooks.  Our goal is to raise funds for the Sisterhood and help support the members of our congregation.  This year, a portion of our proceeds will be donated to Autism Speaks.  Autism Speaks is an organization that is dedicated to promoting solutions for the needs of people with autism and their families.

We are reaching out to you, in hopes of getting as many community members involved in supporting this event for a worthy cause.  The event will include around 175 attendees from the Monmouth 
County area.  Below are many ways you can help.  Whether you choose one way or a couple of ways to help, your generosity is greatly appreciated.

GRAND Prize BLINGO Sponsor ($1,300) – This sponsorship will be used to purchase the grand prize pocketbook.  Your company logo will be displayed on all marketing and event material. You will 
receive a full page ad on the back cover of the event program.    Your company will be displayed on the event Facebook page, and you will receive 2 Package C tickets (includes admission, 1 bingo pack - 3 cards/8 games, 10 raffle tickets, 1 bonus board).  Please submit your ad in a .jpeg format.

BLINGO Pocketbook Sponsor ($400) – This sponsorship will go towards purchasing bingo prizes. You will receive a half page ad in the program and you will have to opportunity to place company 
literature inside a pocketbook.   Please submit your ad in a .jpeg format.

Gift Auction Sponsor (Item Donation) – Donate an item to be part of our raffle table. Your company name be will be listed in the program.
