With great sadness we share that Michael Elman, brother of TSE member Liz Feldman, passed away yesterday, September 2nd.  In addition to Liz, Michael is survived by his loving parents, Stanley and Natalie Elman, his sister, Susan, and his children Gabriela, 23, Isabella, 22, and Rebecca, 18.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5th, at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, 44 Wilson Ave 527 N, Manalapan.

Shiva will be held at the home of Liz and Rob, 21 Walden Court, 
Old Bridge, following the funeral until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, and 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. There will be a Shiva Minyan at 6:30 p.m. each evening.

Donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, the National Kidney Foundation or Temple Shaari Emeth.

Please consult the  service schedule  for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur service locations.  The Erev Rosh Hashanah and Second Day Rosh Hashanah will be held at Temple Shaari Emeth, while most other services will be at Marlboro High School, 95 N Main St, Marlboro.  Services will also streamed live for those who prefer to worship from home.

In order to create a safe environment we will be putting certain protocols in place.  All services are available in-person for TSE members or guests who are family members of TSE members.

It is with sadness we share Hillary Gross, wife of David Gross, passed away yesterday. 

Funeral is  August 7th at Bloomfield Cooper in Manalapan at 11:00am. 

Shiva will be Monday after the interment, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 5:00-9:00 with Minyan at 8:00pm each night, at Susan and David Sobin, 
7 Chesterfield Drive, Jackson.

Donations can be made to  American Cancer Society, American Kidney Fund or Rabbi Panken's Discretionary Fund.

It is with sadness we share Heather Bari Gottlieb, daughter of Bruce and Carol Gottlieb, passed away on July 30th. 

There will be a memorial service on Thursday, August 3 @ 11am at Bloomfield Cooper in Englishtown. 

Shiva will be at the home of Bruce and Carol, 1 Caufield Court, Freehold (the Riviera Community; for GPS directions put in 176 Jackson Mills Road)
Thursday after the service with Minay at 7pm, Friday from 12-6 and Sunday from 12-8 with Minayn at 7pm.

So, what is this Shabbarbeque they keep talking about?

During July and August TSE takes our music-filled services outside (weather permitting) followed by one of our famous summer Onegs.  Shabbarbeque kicks off the Summer Shabbat Series this year.  There is no cost and we'll have hamburgers, hot dogs and all of the fixings.  All we ask is that you REGISTER ; so that we can make sure that there is enough for everyone.

In addition to the special Oneg, we'll have giant connect four, gaga, super Jenga .........  Join us for for a spiritual, meaningful service and enjoy a nice summertime dinner with us.

It is with sadness we share that Shirley Koopersmith, sister of Carl Rosencrown and sister-in-law of Ruth Rosencrown, passed away at 96 years young.

This new Constitution has been approved by our Board of Trustees. Enclosed for
your review is the proposed updated Constitution, and a copy of the existing
Constitution for comparison purposes. We are sending these to you for your
review.

The  updated, constitution will be voted on at the April Congregation Meeting on June 4th, which begins at 7:00 p.m.; and we hope that you will support the updated constitution then.    

You must be at the Congregation Meeting in person or on Zoom to vote.

It is with sadness we share that Frances Kisaday Viola, passed away.  She was the mother of Jeff Viola and mother-in-law of Bonnie Kass-Viola. 

Visitation will be on Thursday, May 25 from 4-8pm at the Ketusky Funeral Home, 1310 Brooks Blvd in Manville, NJ. The funeral will be on Friday, May 26 at 9am at the Ketusky Funeral Home.

Livestream Information

There seems to be some confusion about how to watch the livestream of the Kol B'Seder Concert on Saturday.  As indicated on the registration form for the concert, there is a separate link to access the livestream, which will cost $20 per location (access to the livestream cannot be shared).  You will have to register for an account on the Castr site and then you will be able to view the concert after you pay for the livestream "ticket".   https://bit.ly/May20Livestream
