Barbara Tinkler Pekor, one of the founding members of Temple Shaari Emeth, died on January 26, 2023.

Barbara was the mother of Marisa Tinkler Mendez, Amy Sawicki and Bethanne Tinkler O'Rourke, mother-in-law of David Strom, Mark Sawicki and Kevin O'Rourke, grandmother of Louis, Daniel, Sarah, Jori and Issa Mendez, Bobby Speck and Holly and Elliott Pate and great-grandmother of
Tucker Mendez;
Barbara was the beloved wife of founding President, Allan Pekor.

There will be a service at Temple Beth Sholom of Miami Beach on Sunday, January 29th @ 11am. Services will be online on the Temple's Facebook page livestream and on their website @ Temple Beth Sholom.

Shiva for Barbara will be in Florida on Monday and Tuesday.
