Hello Everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. As promised, I wanted to share an update on the Panken/Cohen Family. I want to thank everyone for respecting the family's privacy as they navigate through the next few weeks. Glenn's prognosis is still unclear. He is being cared for by the best doctors for him and we will send an update as we receive more information.
Rabbi Panken will be taking the remainder of December, anticipating to return in January. In her absence Cantor Wally will be taking over all clergy duties, including life cycle events and services. We will be working with lay leaders and other local clergy to assist with any additional needs.
We are continuing to monitor the family's needs and will continue to make sure they have enough meals and support necessary to ease the burden. This fund helps support congregants by providing meals to families who are experiencing difficult times.
