Although we are living in extraordinary times, Temple Shaari Emeth has continued to provide a strong Jewish foundation for our community. We have offered virtual Friday night services which have included a Drive-In Shabbat Service and an At-Home-Shabbarbeque Service. Our Religious School provided a strong Jewish education for our children. Our Youth Groups met online throughout the school year, ensuring that our youth continued to connect with each other. The Early Learning Center Camp opened to our children to give them a safe, fun, and social way to spend their summer.
Temple Shaari Emeth is an important part of our community’s Jewish identity. During these challenging times, our Temple continues to provide stability and strength to our congregants and our community. Now more than ever the Temple will need to rely on the generosity of our members and supporters to ensure that we meet the needs of everyone in our congregation. Towards this end we have created new levels and opportunities for giving.
Every contributor will be recognized in the Book of Life, which lists the names of this year’s B’nai Mitzvah, Confirmands, newlyweds, newborn children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. It also contains pictures and information celebrating the past year at Temple Shaari Emeth. By including your name in the Book of Life, not only can we acknowledge your generosity to the Temple but it also enables you to honor the accomplishments of community members and send a High Hoy Day greeting for a good New Year.
