Special Torah Study Session: Words that Last: Teaching Blessing Across Generations
Saturday, June 7, 2025 • 11 Sivan 5785
9:00 AM - 10:00 AMAs part of our weekend celebrating 60 years of Jewish education at TSE, join us for a special Shabbat morning Torah Study centered on one of the most beloved passages in the Torah: the Priestly Blessing. These ancient words—“May God bless you and keep you...”— we still recite today: at the conclusion of our worship services, by parents to their children, and by teachers to their students, passing them from generation to generation.
Together, we’ll explore how these words became a core part of Jewish life, what it means to teach not just facts but values, and how Jewish education has always been about more than just the classroom — but about helping each other grow into lives of meaning and purpose.
