TSE Congregation Updates

As you all know, we have been working hard for the past few months with our friends at Temple Rodeph Torah (TRT) to finalize integration of the two temples.  Our Core Integration Committee has been working diligently with our peers at TRT and our attorneys to complete all the tasks necessary to join our two congregations as one.

With your help, we have secured that future with a nearly unaminous vote tonight to  accept the Merger Agreement between TRT and TSE and the revised expense budget that supports our operations for the balance of the current fiscal year..  I wanted to take this time to congratulate all of you for taking this step toward securing our positive future as a thriving and strong Reform Jewish Congregation in Central New Jersey. 

Please join us on Friday, November 12th at 6:30 p.m. at a Pre-Neg celebration at which a ceremonial ketubah will be signed to ritually join our two congregations as one. Following the ceremony a joyous Musical Celebration Shabbat will take place.

On behalf of the TSE Board of Trustees and the Core Integration Committee members, thank you for putting your trust in our leadership, and allowing us to create this beautiful new bond.  As we move forward in our new journey together, please join me in saying “hazak, hasak, v’nithazek” … “Be strong, be strong, and let us strengthen each other.”
